MUSEUM DETAILS

The famed "Serial Number One" motorcycle is the oldest known Harley-Davidson motorcycle. It is part of the original motorcycle collection started by the Company founders Walter A. Davidson and William S. Harley in the 1910s and will be exhibited in the Museum.

A mechanical drawing brought to life, the Exploded Bike exhibit features a 1940s Knucklehead that looks ready for an adventure.

Harley-Davidson has not been creating just motorcycles, but also works of art in its tank designs. The Tank Wall features 100 different tanks that have unique and visually resonant designs.

The 1969 movie, “Easy Rider,” starring Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper features one of the most recognizable motorcycles in history, the “Captain America” chopper.
